*Due to unpredictable weather conditions forecast for Saturday and Sunday (possible thunderstorms) which could be dangerous to reenactors encamped in a confined area in canvas tents, many of the reenactors that had intended to participate in this year’s Battle of Plattsburgh Commemoration have decided not to attend. Therefore, the Grande Encampment at the Kent Delord House Museum grounds has been cancelled along with the scheduled reenactments. A small contingent of reenactors will be set up in the Carriage barn behind the Kent Delord House Museum. We apologize for this unpredicted change to our weekend schedule.
