Clinton County Historian

Anastasia Pratt has served as the Clinton County Historian since 2008. Her interest in public history was sparked during her school days in Peru and by her parents' love of family and local history. Anastasia studied history at Plattsburgh State, earning a BA in 1998, and American Culture at the University of Michigan, earning both an MA and a PhD. In addition to her work as Historian, Pratt is an associate professor at SUNY Empire State College and a member of the folk group Towne Meeting.
